4th Annual Adopt A Fudge Bunny
Proceeds to Benefit Miranda’s Animal Rescue

Old Town Coffee & Chocolates once again presents “Adopt A Fudge Bunny and Help Miranda’s Animal Rescue”. As part of this really sweet deal, 20% of each Fudge Bunny sold will be donated to Miranda’s Animal Rescue The fresh fudge bunnies are made of ½ lb of fresh chocolate fudge and sell for $5.95 each. They’re cute, delicious and would love to find a good home. Cathy Kunkler, Co-Owner of Old Town Coffee & Chocolates, said “this our 5th year of donating proceeds from the bunnies to help animals and we’re having a great time giving each bunny it’s own name”. Gail Mentink, Co-Owner of Old Town Coffee & Chocolates, noted “we’d love to top last year’s donation of $280. It’s really a win-win situation all around – the animals benefit, as does the bunny adopter who gets to enjoy a yummy fudge bunny”.
Also, in the spirit of controlling pet populations, Old Town Coffee & Chocolates has once again made “Bunny Balls”. Bunny Balls are balls of chocolate fudge dipped in white chocolate and sell for $5.50 per set. Each box displays the Bunny Balls resting in a patch of grass and humorously notes “Consumer Notice: No animal was harmed in the process of making of this product”.

Miranda's Animal Rescue helps Large and Small Animals find permanent homes. In helping control pet populations, Miranda’s spays or neuters every animal before they leave the rescue for their new loving home. They are located at 1603 Sandy Prairie Road, Fortuna and can be reached at 725-4449 or mirandas_rescue@yahoo.com. The rescue is funded by private donations and also by their new thrift store located at 822 S. Fortuna Blvd. in Fortuna 725-4166. Fudge Bunnies can be “adopted” at the thrift or at Old Town Coffee & Chocolates.
